Problem

Driveway had visible salt scaling along the first 8 feet from the garage, faded color across the broom-finish surface, and oil staining near the parking area. Homeowner wanted to protect against another Minnesota winter without replacing the slab.

Solution

Pressure washed the entire surface with a turbo nozzle. Spot-treated the oil stains with degreaser. Allowed 48-hour dry-down per moisture test. Applied two coats of penetrating siloxane sealer over the full 2,400 sq ft. Color came back substantially closer to original finish and surface is now hydrophobic — water beads off.
