Problem

Homeowner finished a basement as a media room and wet-bar entertainment space. Wanted a high-end designer floor that wouldn't look like a typical basement and would handle spilled drinks, foot traffic, and the dehumidifier without damage.

Solution

Diamond ground the slab to a clean profile. Installed Ultra Surface Metal Fusion base in pewter with copper and pearl-white pour-and-swirl metallic pigments. Sealed with two coats of high-gloss polyaspartic for chemical resistance. Floor has a three-dimensional 'flowing liquid metal' appearance that catches light from the recessed lighting overhead.
