The Problem

We responded to a septic issue in Orono, Minnesota where the system had stopped working properly. After inspecting the tank, we found that the septic pump had come apart inside the tank, causing a complete failure. In this case, the septic pump failed internally and came apart inside the tank. When this happens, the system can no longer move wastewater properly, which can quickly lead to backups or alarms.

What We Found & Did

We removed the failed pump, inspected the system for additional issues, and installed a new working pump. After testing, the system was operating normally again.
