Problem

The existing concrete floor had surface erosion and cracking that required extensive preparation and repairs before a durable decorative coating system could be installed.

Solution

Permanent Coating Solutions mechanically prepared the concrete using diamond grinding and shot blasting to create a strong bonding surface. Eroded areas were restored with a skim coat, and existing cracks were saw-cut and filled using Crack Mender repair material. We then applied an epoxy base coat followed by a full broadcast of decorative Wombat-colored vinyl flakes. The floor was finished with two coats of chemical-resistant and UV-resistant polyaspartic clear coating, creating a durable, attractive, easy-to-maintain surface.
