Problem
This garage floor in Prior Lake, Minnesota had significant salt damage and deep concrete pitting from years of Minnesota winter conditions. Solution
Permanent Coating Solutions first addressed the deep pits and salt-damaged areas, repairing and restoring the deteriorated concrete to create a solid surface for the new floor system. After the necessary repairs and surface preparation were completed, we installed a multi-layer full-flake epoxy and polyaspartic floor coating system. An epoxy base coat was applied to the prepared concrete, followed by a full broadcast of decorative flake for complete coverage, texture, and a uniform finished appearance. The system was then protected with two clear polyaspartic top coats, creating a durable, easy-to-clean wear surface designed to withstand vehicle traffic, moisture, chemicals, abrasion, and the road salt routinely brought into Minnesota garages during the winter.
